The newest architectural marvel of the Middle East, YAS Hotel in Abu Dhabi, was recently completed and is the world’s biggest LED project, to date, controlled through RDM (Remote Device Management).

When Munich’s evening paper Abendzeitung moved from Sendlingerstrasse into the new Hopfenpost building, it was welcomed there by surroundings providing a field of tension and movement as well as of savings and optical elegance, created by Gabriele Allendorf, a lighting planner and interior designer.

The light sources for this villa’s complete architectural, interior, outdoor and pool lighting is provided by LEDs. The planned RGB luminaires for coloured light and white LED spots for everyday lighting ensure the customer can chose the right light ambience for every occasion.

"Shining a light on patents and innovations" is the slogan on the European Patent Office website. And this truly hits the nail on the head — the light metaphor perfectly elucidates the activities and positioning of the European Patent Office. Similarly, the lighting design by Munich-based lighting designer Gabriele Allendorf is the primary design factor in the new administration building.
